Brazil is the largest sisal producer in the World, showing a result of 125 tons of it. The state of Bahia is the largest producer, responsible for 90% of the national production. About 45% of the production is exported in the form of fiber, a raw material used in the fabrication of treads, ropes, carpets and covers or blankets, among other items.
PARTRADE is allied to SISAEX (founded in 1986), one of the largest and more traditional companies of Brazil. 12 thousand tons of sisal ─ types 1, 2, 3 and 4 ─ are annually produced. Our company is responsible for the commercial department of the SISAEX, holding a select number of clients and looking for the formalization of new partnerships in the international market.
